It worked. After registering my phone, and connecting my phone to this blog, I was able to write a post using a text message. (There are instructions in SETTINGS; MOBILE AND EMAIL.)
The application of this feature is limited. Every 150 characters will be sent as a separate text, and therefore a separate blog post. And the post title will just display the time stamp. But I can edit the post later.
It may be useful if I want to send photos from my phone directly to my blog.
I will most likely forget that I have this feature, and accumulate a lot of texts from Blogger reminding me that I have forgotten to use it.
